This large hammer tip is for use on carbide endmills, especially smaller diameter where targeting a small spot on the endmill is difficult or larger endmills when there ont a smooth even surface to strike. This will prevent double hits and mishits. Don't use this on indexable endmill and face mills.
When installing, screw the tip in hand tight. Make sure it has seated properly and no gaps appear when holding the hammer up to a light. When replacing the tip, unscrew the stud with a flat tip screwdriver and save (they are incredibly expensive). https://www.pcb.com/products?m=081b05
