In order to perform this you must have admin rights for your computer or have IT log on to your computer and do it for you. We will send you a zipped file with your dongle number for the file name. Proceed with the following:
- Insert the dongle into a USB port.
- Save the zip file to your desktop.
- Unzip the file.
- Click on the file to open the folder.
- Click on the file named RemoteUpdateEmailUser
- A window will pop-up. Click on Update Security Key
To verify the update is successful, run Verify Dongle:

ALTERNATIVE: If you have your own personal Windows computer, you can update the dongle with it and the dongle will then work on your MSC laptop. Email the zip file to yourself follow steps 1-6 above on your PC.
