This occurs when you launch SpeedCast software and then insert the dongle after starting. When you try to create a DCC (Dashboard) by clicking on the DCC button, you get this error message. You must insert the dongle before opening the SpeedCast software.
If you tap test a tool with an expired dongle, the file is usable but will not open even after the dongle has been updated. It can be repaired automatically by attaching the file to an email. You will get a link for the repaired file by return email.
It will take up to 5 minutes after receipt of the reply for the file to be processed and for the link to be live. Simply click on the link in the email and the corrected file will open in MillMax. You can re-save it by clicking CTRL+A and then the Save Current File as button.
